Hi VLL,

Some Adagio reports are based on a temporary work file, usually transactions and batch reports. If a report is 'empty', such as a transaction listing report not having any transactions in the report ranges, then a work file is not generated. A side effect of this 'empty' report is that the company name does not get populated. Standard reports such as the Company Profile or Terms list reports do not use work files and thus never run into this scenario.

It's probably a shot in the dark, but do the Payables reports you are printing for this company have any information on them? You did mention in your original post that General reports have this problem, which would effectively nullify this as the issue.

Also, how are your printing/previewing reports? I found an old issue from 2001 where if the report was printed to a Word file rather than a printer, the company name didn't get written to the Word document. Another shot in the dark, I suppose.

We don't have any other reported reasons for the company name not printing at the top of the page. If all reports for a specific Payables company don't have the name, yet all other Adagio programs and companies have no issues, then the likely cause is that the Crystal Reports engine isn't able to deal with something in the company name and thus can't output the text (the reason for Andrew's question about special ASCII characters such as French accents). Maybe try deleting and re-entering the company name.
