Obviously, this was not on my list of priorities but do have an update on not seeing balances in the GL View. To answer your questions above:
1) no unique setups with the two stations/users that don't work
2) had another user sign on the workstation where problem lies and they can see the balance! So seems to be user linked...
3) Current Balance (FY) field is selected, tried removing it and adding it back. Same problem.
4) This occurs for any period in prior years, current year works.
5) Confirmed we're pointing to the same company
6) Data Integrity is clean
So, based on the result of 2), I thought I'd test users:
1) created a new user: view works
2) copied from the "bad" user to a new user: view works
3) deleted the "bad" user and re-created using the same initial: view doesn't work!
Based on these results, even if I delete the user, it somehow seems to keep a history of the user and its problems...
Not sure if this is just coincidence but thought I'd share it with you in case you can figure out why!
We're functional with a new user/initial but still haven't determined why it wasn't working...
