There are two things you probably have to look out for:

1) Make sure you open the Financial Reporter in 'Maintenance' mode rather than 'Print' mode. Only in Maintenance mode can you edit specs or perform functions other than print or export. Access this from the Maintenance menu and 'Maintain Financial Reports'. If you simply click the 'Financial' Toolbar button, you will run the Print-only mode.

You can tell which mode you are using by the Financial Reporter window title.

2) Because you have a new computer, you probably will have to reset your toolbars. When you are in the Financial Reporter, go to the View menu and choose Customize. On the Toolbars screen, select the View toolbar and click 'Reset'. Do so for the other toolbars as necessary.

You may also want to re-position the toolbars to allow you more room to access and see the spreadsheet.
