Dear mal
To function properly in a network environment, Adagio programs should be installed on the system acting as the Server. Another install called the 'workstation setup' is then required on all stations (clients) that need to use Adagio. All clients then run the main Adagio programs from the Server.
Adagio is compatible with the following Windows versions (as per the compatibility chart on our website):
- Win95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, (although Win95 is a little past tense nowadays).
I am not familiar with how/what Linux does and if it in fact supports Windows applications or not. If it does, then I would expect no problems, however, please note that Adagio was not tested in this environment and we cannot support issues that may arise as a result.
The special process required to run Adagio in a network environment (i.e. from the Server) is described briefly above.
If you have specific questions or need addtional information, perhaps you should contact your local Dealer for a demonstration? If you do not have a Dealer who supports Adagio, please feel free to contact our Customer Service department, who would be happy to refer you to one of our partners.
Regards,
