Thanks for providing the error message. However, please also provide the module version and release date (in yymmdd format). You can obtain this information by selecting Help | About from the main Payables menu.

Additionally, 'exactly' what are you doing/trying to do (typing, clicking) and on what window, when you receive the error? What other Payables windows (or other Adagio modules) are open? If you close out of Payables and reopen it, are you able to make the same error occur over again using the exact same steps (clicks/keystrokes)? Can anyone else make the same error occur in Payables on their workstation?

Access violoation errors can be fleeting and difficult to recreate. If you cannot make the error recur, it was probably due to a one-time occurrence of a process bumping into something else on your system. If you can duplicate it and provide us the steps to do the same, we can investigate it as a possible program program.
