Often problems of this nature are related to the printer driver. Have you checked the Lexmark website to see if you have the most recent driver installed? Also, when there is shading and text in the same space, the printer driver may be sensitive to which it is told is "on top". Make a copy of the specification (don't forget to change the long name under File | Options). Click on the shading and "send it to back". See if that makes a difference.
