Dear Hobs
Not being able to guess at what has happened, we tested the situation based on the likely cause, and gave you our findings. Often, we will outline generic information or give procedures as a guideline by which the person posting the problem can determine if anything seems out of place in the process they have used... it is not a judgement on whether someone needs advice on YE procedures or not. It is obvious that in this case, you need advice on something - or you wouldn't have posted here.
We would like to be able to help you, so you need to help us understand exactly what the problem is. If there is indeed a problem with Adagio - we need specific information and steps we can use to research and test it to see if we can duplicate it here or before we can suggest methods by which to resolve it. The problem as you have described it does not help us to help you!
Enough said about that.
I searched the forum and finally found two posts that were from your Company:
AP Tax Tracking Report not Clearing
AP Open Payables Report Aging Date
From the brief information you gave, it sounds like you are trying to print the Open Payables Report with a date earlier than the date used to perform your Year End, and this is the one we gave advice on. If we are correct in guessing your issue - it is not a 'problem' with Adagio - Adagio is working the way it should, based on the date you entered. If this is the case, your only option would be to restore from a backup made prior to performing your Year End. You would have to rekey all entries made after that point in time. We will not advise you what dates to enter to do so, as you do not need this advice.
I do not believe this is the same issue that "had been reported twice before" which has to do with the Tax Tracking report not clearing.
If it is, please let us know and we would be happy to give you the workaround, which has been posted on this forum before as well.
Take care,
