I am wondering if it is necessary for us to do a Day End in Adagio Inventory. The help file says "Day End Processing will process all receipts, adjustments and shipments entered since the last time the function was run". Since we do receipts in POA and shipments in OE, the only thing left for it to process are inventory adjustments. We do enter inventory adjustements in IC. What exactly does the day end function do to the inventory adjustments? I thought they were processed immediately when posted? Once a month we print and clear the Adjustment audit list.

Please let me know if there is any purpose of running the Day End function in IC.
