Hello Scryer21

Hopefully, this little blurb and equation will help you to understand the workings of Adagio Lanpaks...

Adagio Lanpak licensing is used for all Adagio modules, beginning with version 6.8A, except for Crystal Reports for Adagio.

Each Adagio module includes its own module-specific license for a single session. For more than one user to use a module at the same time, an Adagio Lanpak (with generic licenses), must be purchased and installed.

LANPAKS Equation
Sum of (Maximum number of active users for each Adagio module) - (Number of installed Adagio modules) = # of Lanpaks required.

To determine the maximum number of Adagio Lanpaks required for the complete system, sum the maximum number of simultaneous users less one in each Adagio module.

For example - if there will be one user in GL, another in AP, and three in Invoices, the number of Adagio Lanpak licenses needed is 2.

(1xGL ? 1) + (1xAP ? 1) + (3xInvoices ? 1)
= (1 ? 1) + (1 ? 1) + (3 ? 1)
= 0 + 0 + 2
= 2 Adagio Lanpaks

Lanpaks come in 2, 5, 10 & 20 user units.

So, for your requirements, you would need to purchase a 5-User Lanpak, as there is no 3-User.

- 2 AL + 2 AP + 2 AR = 6 Max. Users
- (6 Users) - (3 Installed Adagio Modules) = 3

This means that you would have 2 extra 'seats' available for extra Users.

The only exception to this is Crystal Reports for Adagio...

A separate license is required for each workstation to gain access to Crystal Reports for Adagio. After the first copy of Crystal Reports for Adagio has been registered, a separate Supplemental Copy must be purchased and installed on the local drive of each workstation wanting access.
