You are correct to re-install Sales Analysis after having installed a ptf for OE, and the older 990626 release of SA is compatible with OE6.5A (000704 is the currently shipping release) so there should not be a problem when you re-install it.

Are you sure you are re-installing from the correct version diskette of Sales Analysis? I am not aware of any problems surrounding this.

Perhaps the re-install did not complete successfully, or maybe you do not have sufficient network rights if re-installing onto a Server?
