Error 533 is a fairly generic error message related to report printing. This message does not necessarily point towards a specific error or reason for occuring. Your data is not the cause of the problem; it will not be corrupt.

Quik Check for Windows uses the Crystal Reports engine for printing reports. This error has occured in the past because another program had been installed that also uses Crystal Reports, and some files were over-written. There are other reasons, but many are not related to the Check Rec report in Quik Check specifically, but are more batch listing report related.

I would first suggest reinstalling Quik Check and see if that helps. It might just need to put some files back. Next, if you have any other workstations that have access to QCW, find out if reports can be printed from there. If so, then you can limit the search to issue related to the workstation only, and not the data and program files on the network.
