When we receive a credit note/credit memo from a vendor, we enter it into the A/P module using the invoice entry screen and selecting Credit Note as the document type. This allows us to enter the Credit Note number in the Document field and enables us to select the original invoice that the credit note applies to. However, when we do our cheque run, the advice details show only the original invoice for the adjusted amount (i.e. original amount less credit), it doesn't show the original invoice and the credit note separately. Is there a way to have them show separately on the cheque stub so that when matching up documents through the cheque validation and signing process, we can see the original invoice of $65 and then the credit of $30 for a net payment of $35 rather than just one detail line for an invoice of $35?
