Just to clarify Steve's post, if you edit an IC Item in Order Entry, you will not have access to Location (pick sequence or allow at location), Reorder or Sales History tabs, as you would if you edited an item using Inventory 81B.

The Item Inquiry functions (on which Costing and Quantity and IC Transaction History are available) are equally visible in OE as compared to IC. And these are just Inquiry functions where Notes cannot be edited, just seen.
