In IC from the Edit menu, select Locations. The "Items" tab allows you to see the entire list of items and whether they're active at this location or not.



The "Item Range" tab allows you to select multiple items to make them active at the chosen location. What we typically do is assign a unique Report Group when we import the new items. You can then select the item range based on Report Group for each location. Once this is done, you can re-import the items, overwriting the unique Report group with the desired one.
