Sadly, sometimes our development timelines do not work out the way we expect. SalesCQ was our disappointment in 2009. We were not expecting the changes to be as significant as they turned out, and as a result of some other externally scheduled items, its (SalesCQ's) development got pushed by a required upgrade to Purchase Orders for Adagio. Because Adagio is modular, some features will always be available for some segment of our installed base, before they will be available to all our users. To prevent this happening in the future, we have decided not to undertake changes of the scale we made to Adagio Receivables in the future. I hope you will see more frequent, and simpler, upgrades to the Adagio modules in 2010.

It is possible to have SalesCQ working on an old version of the data if all you are using is the quote management functionality. You lose the automatic transfer of a quote to an order and customers need to be added in both locations. It's really a trade off as to whether the new features in AR 9.0A out weiht the benefits from SalesCQ.
