Hi Tracy,

If you print preview a report and the screen sort of 'flashes' rather than showing the report, that means something isn't getting loaded by the Crystal Reports engine during the print process. Typcially the solution is to simply reinstall Adagio to make sure the Crystal files are all there and set up correctly. Adagio AR 6.8A and all other Adagio 6.8 programs use the Crystal 7.0 engine. Do you have any other programs that use Crystal Reports for printing? I wonder if any DLLs were replaced accidentally.

Does this happen for all reports in AR, or only selected reports? Try the Company Profile report for the simplest test. That you get an 'Error 533' on printing a report (a generic message), I would definitely suggest reinstalling or re-doing the workstation setup.

If you installed the workstation components, run the utility program CHKSYS.EXE, which can be found in the \softrak\system directory. This will check whether all the files that should be on your local hard-drive are in fact there, and of the proper versions.

This 'screen-flash' has also been found to happen if you have unusual settings in the Windows Regional Settings for Dates and Amounts. Windows ME should be OK with this as I've seen it work before.
