Dear Roger

The versions of WSM and AR that you have listed are compatible with Adagio Receivables, so this cannot be the direct cause of the problem.

Are you pointing Adagio Receivables to the same data files as you were last week? If so, something has changed to cause this.

If this is a different data set, then there could be files in there from a prior version of Receivables or other ACCPAC Plus application that is not compatible with Adagio. In other words, the data you are trying to use could have older version files in it that Adagio cannot convert. (For example, if you have ever used a version of AR older than 6.1A there could be stray files that are still kicking around in the dataset that have not been converted properly, or they could have gotten there from a previously restored backup.)

SUGGESTIONS:
1. Make a good backup of your data prior to proceeding!
2. Take a copy of the dataset(s) that you wish to use with Adagio.
3. Create a new, empty directory and put the copied dataset(s) into it. Use this COPY only to test Adagio. (Never use your live data with the limited evaluation versions of Adagio or any other program!)
4. To check for older files, from a DOS prompt, or Windows Explorer go to this data directory and sort the files in date order. Are there AR files in there that are really old? If you find any suspect files, then these may be the ones hindering your progress.
5. Try renaming these files until you can successfully open Receivables.
