Dear Scryer21
The great thing about Adagio is that you do not have to 'import' your ACCPAC Plus data into it! If you now have a copy of your ACCPAC data, then just 'point' Adagio at the drive and directory where the data resides, and you'll be up and running! There is no data conversion.
There are two ways you can do this. When you have the 'Open Adagio xxx Data' screen up:
1. You can use the browse button, directly to the right of the 'Data path' field (it looks like a little file folder) to search for the path (in which case, it will insert the correct path and extension into the appropriate fields).
2. You can just type in the 'Data path' and the 'Extenstion' information into those fields.
If this is the first time you have used Adagio with this data, you will be prompted for the EZ Tasks and Currency path. Since you are using this with ACCPAC data, you would enter the drive letter where the 'ASP' directory resides for both prompts.
NOTE: Adagio is NOT Multi-currency. If your data IS M/C, then Adagio will not open it.
To use sample data, just point Adagio to the X:\Softrak\XXWIN\Samdata directory on the drive (X:\) where you installed Adagio.
The 'XX'Win represents the Adagio program directory for the module you are using. For example, if you are trying to open Ledger sample data, you would point to X:\Softrak\ALWIN\Samdata - for Payables it would be X:\Softrak\APWIN\Samdata etc.
Hope this helps!
