Hello Leo

Once again, although this is what you are experiencing in your multi-user environment, this is not what should be happening. I have only heard of this margin thing once before, and the problem was related to PCL6 emulation.

For both the Invoice and Credit Note specifications, even though you can have one printer selected on the specification itself (in Designer, File | Printer Setup), when you go to print an INV or CN, Adagio relies on the settings in the main Invoices screen, File | Options to make it's printer selection for both types of docs.

For example, (in the File | Options section 'Invoice Printer') if you have 'Default' checked, Adagio uses whatever printer is selected as the DEFAULT on that user's workstation. By the same token, if someone has set the Invoice Printer to 'specific' and there is any difference at all in the printer settings between users - this may cause a problem. (Even though the printer 'name' looks identical or is describing the same model/make of printer for every user, there could be slight differences.)

To avoid this (since all users are printing to the same type of printer locally), set the Invoice Printer to 'default' and make sure that everyone's printer has the same (internal) margins and settings for the actual emulation/driver selected.

Another thing you can do is go into Designer, open the CN spec and change the File | Printer Setup printer to be the one that is used by all, then SAVE the spec.

Again, check all stations to ensure that nobody is using the 'PCL6' driver. There are known issues with this emulation. PCL5 is ok though.

Hope this helps. If I find out anything further on this that may be helpful, I will add another post.
