I may be wrong, but from your post I get the impression that the fact that Adagio was showing the message that the Adagio Ledger Transactions List had transactions - meant that you had to get rid of it asap.

Just in case that's what you were thinking... the message is only informational. You can just ignore it and do the GL retrieve any time during the month that makes sense to your company. Some retrieve every day or once a week. Some retrieve once a month.
