Hello Galil

The reason the Range itself appears in the worksheet where you dragged it is because this is what you typed in for the 'Name', and you did not actually define the range yet.

You CAN have a name such as 1009:1014, but because it is a 'name' - it will appear as such on your FS. What you now must do is create the actual 'range' so the balances you are expecting will appear along with the name (if you so choose).

To create a new (or edit an existing) range:
1. Open the Account Group View window by selecting 'Account Groups' from the FR 'View' Toolbar menu option.
2. Left-click on the 'Name' of the range to select it on the Account Group window (which in your case is "1009:1014").
3. With this 'Name' highlighted now, left-click in the 'Range' column (directly to the right of the selected Range 'Name') - where you want to insert the actual Range. (You will NOT see anything being highlighted at this point.)
4. Press F2 to go into EDIT mode. You should now see a dialogue box/field where you can type in the range you want. Do so now. (The syntax is the same as what you typed in the 'Name' field.)
5. Press Enter when you are done.
6. Now, drag the new Range over to your FS just as you did before, selecting Current Balance. You should now see the figures you are expecting to see.

Hope this helps!
