You are using a very very very old version of Quik Check (in fact we have stopped development on this product). It has been replaced by Adagio Checks for Windows (which is still compatible with your ACCPAC Plus G/L).

In any case, the version you are using has a limit of 999 batches. You must follow the procedures below to reset the batch count to 1...

Steps for resetting Quik Check Batch to 1 if you are over the 999 limit on a standalone Quik Check:

1. Print Company Profile. (used to re-enter information later)
2. BACKUP Quik Check and General Ledger Data.
3. Delete Quik Check Data files.
4. Restore from previous backup. (Prior to posting 999)
5. Create NEW Quik Check start list menu item with file extension .NEW.
6. Enter the NEW Quik Check and allow it to create new data.
7. Delete QCCH999.xxx and QCCHKCTL.xxx from your current Quik Check data.
8. Copy QCGLOB.NEW to QCGLOB.xxx.
9. Reenter your Company Profile information into the OLD data (Bank etc).
10. Reenter your 999 batch as manual checks. This will be batch #1.
11. Post the batch.
12. Delete NEW QC from Start List .NEW.
13. Delete QC*.NEW from data directory.

If you follow these steps carefully you will be able to start at Batch 1 again.
