Dear Martha

Thank you for your detailed post!

Sales Analysis should not total the column for Margin - it does the calculation for the Margin by dividing the Profit by the Amount {ie Profit/Amount (of Sale)} as you would prefer. I have tested this here using our sample data and it calculates correctly!

Some things to remember:
The margin will always be 100% if you are using OE with a Price List.

As long as Cost of Goods Sold is available, then the margin will be correctly calculated.

The Margin is always calculated from Home currency, even if you are using Multi-currency.

You could try creating a new WSM Start List item and point SA to the sample data provided - the default path that it will install into is \ASP\SAMDATA\SOFTRAK\SA. Create the same report, but give a date range of say, April 1, 1995 - April 13, 1995 so you don't get a huge report.

I think you should see that it works the way it is supposed to.

If you still encounter problems ...

1. Have you done a Data Integrity Check on your SA data and/or your OE data? Is it clean or are there errors found?
2. Are you using a product that alters the decimal places in your data? (eg Increase Decimal Places)

Hope this helps.
Regards,
