Hi Susan,
There are many reason why data may produce integrity errors, some of which are problems related to the network, workstation, multi-user collisions, power surges or outages, closing the program before a function is complete, or application issues.
For the first (file integrity) set of errors, there are 51 occurences in the item file where there may be index mismatching or problems that the Adagio users have no control over.
For the second (application integrity) set of errors, it appears that 3 particular items may have been deleted but still exist on open orders. Users potentially have some influence over these type of errors, but not always.
Make a backup of your data, and then the next time you run an integrity check, you can try Rebuilding the errors to fix them. Some errors are fixable in this way and some are not, depending on the nature of the error.
Compacting shouldn't be causing this problem - this process removes the 'blank space' in a data file after records are deleted or purged. If you wish to disable the Compacting option in DataCare to see if makes a difference, then it is certainly worth a try.
If all the errors are fixed, yet they re-occur again, please let us and your Adagio consultant know, as we all want to help determine what is happening and find a way to make these errors stop occuring.
