Hi Angela - This has happened to me on a couple of occasions. If you have a backup of the Ledger prior to the attempted conversion, restore the file to a temporary folder to make sure the data is the correct dataset. Then delete the GL*.* files in your current data folder and copy the GL files only from the temp folder where you extracted your last backup. Once youhave done this, attempt the conversion again. You will have to do this for both your companies.
I would be curious from Softrak's tech team if this would be the normal procedure and what would cause this ews error. I know the above procedure has worked for me.
