It sounds like you do not have a department list set up (Edit | Departments) from the main menu.

What you can do is to access the Company Profile and uncheck the 'Report missing department errors' option. Run DIC again after this and it should resolve your errors.

I notice you're on an upgrades plan. So you know, there have been two upgrades to the release of Adagio GL you are currently on. Perhaps when you've completed your year end (although this isn't necessary), you'll want to upgrade your version to one that is more current.
