Is there a way to get a GV view to run automatically like console does for other modules?

A client has a supplier that needs a report to be run and pushed to their platform without intervention from the client's staff. I had some difficulties in getting the full report needed and ended up using a workspace because there were some files not updated or present with the new upgrade for GV as it pertains to composite tables.

I am not sure why a table like OE transactions master wouldn't come with items like Customer name, address and UOM (UOM being sold) since sales are coming from that module which has this information for processing an invoice. Hopefully an upgrade will fix this to ensure that creating views are simpler based on the table being chosen.

But now the problem is getting the report to run and exported as an excel file at a particular time each day.

Check out "Command line parameters" in the F1-Help. Everything can be automated in GridView without requiring Console. You can easily create the shortcut necessary by using [b]File | Create Shortcut" in GridView.
