Hello,

I was wondering if there is a product that interfaces with AR and would allow us to create about 100 fields of different types (date, numeric, string, etc.) and give the ability to setup which groups are allowed to View and Edit. Then we use the CampusLogin to manage the FLR people and process until they enroll. Once they enroll, then they are added to Adagio AR and managed from here on.

I noticed in AR there's the possibility to create 9 fields, but we would need about 100. Is this possible with any of the current products adagio offers?

Thanks.

Why not just add the Adagio Customer Number to your external database and use Adagio ODBC to synchronize the data? (What's an "FLR people"?)

Sorry, FLR people are the front line people that would create and edit data.

We currently do not have the Adagio ODBC and were wondering if there was a product available that would accomplish this.

If there is no product, the ODBC seems like a solution.

Thanks.

Just "having fields" isn't very useful. You'll want to report on them and sort by them and select on them and validate them etc.

Presumably the external program you are using to manage enrollment already has all of these and validates them too!

Carlos:

As Campus Login would be your starting point, you will be writing to AR. This requires careful planning as you will need to validate data before writing to the Adagoi database.

Depending upon what Campus Login uses as a database an option might be Dakota Software's DataExchange.

A really simple option is to start with an import file.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

SmartRecords for Adagio would do exactly what you want - it links to customer information in Adagio and you can set up as many fields as you want and also various user rights by groups. It can also store all your documents related to your customer records. Please see our site www.SRSoft.co
