When I am printing to a printer a particular financial statement it prints landscape which is what I want, but when I print the same financial statement to the same printer with the "group statement" function, it prints as portrait. What do a need to change to get it to print landscape with the group statement function.

What version of Ledger/FX are you using. From the Help/About Financial Reporter menu within the Financial Reporter program, what is the listed version number?

Could you try removing the financial report from the statement group and then adding it back? The print orientation is saved with the report, and perhaps the orientation was portrait when it was first added.

Or you could try creating a new statement group and adding just this report, if you wanted to see if this suggestion works before modifying the existing statement group.

How are you printing the Statement Group? From within the Financial Reporter, from the Reports menu and Print Financial Statements, or from a Report Set?

We are using Ledger 9.0D. We are printing the reports using statement group from the reports & maintain financial statements.

I tried creating a new group and it still print them incorrect when using the statement group option. When I use the statement group and export to excel,the report are landscape.

Any other suggestions?

A different printer? I tested with Ledger 9.0D the AdagioPDF driver, and the landscape reports printed with the correct orientation, as did the portrait reports. You could also try a different 'electronic' printer such as the 'Microsoft XPS document writer'.

Also, what version of the Financial Reporter are you using? A problem was fixed in the internal version 2.1.1.1849 where if a financial statement had multiple tabs and some were portrait and others were landscape, the orientation was not properly used in statement groups.

Perhaps you are running Ledger 9.0D (110629) and you need to be running 9.0D (111017) where there was the following fix made:

"Financial Reporter was not correctly setting the Paper Size or Orientation of individual statements when printing Statement Groups to printer if the statements had different Paper Sizes and/or Orientations."
