We have a client who is still on Accpac Plus and wants to convert. Does the Accpac plus data still convert to Adagio seamlessly? I assume it would be a "One way only" conversion - never to be able to be converted back to Accpac Plus.

It depends on the module. If they move to Legacy Ledger and Legacy Receivables they would probably still be able to access the data with Accpac Plus, but we don't test ANY of this. (And why they would choose Ledger 8.1 and all the year end hassles over Ledger 9.0 is completely beyond me.)

The conversion from Accpac Plus to the latest Adagio Ledger and Payables is still seamless? We haven't done one in years!

Yes - just point and go. You will have to tidy up the financial statements a bit and define new forms, but that's about it.

I did one today - AP, AR, GL, Lanpak/2. It took two hours from start to finish, including installing and registering the software, converting the data, tweaking the check and statement specs, and initial training.

Like most remaining ACCPAC Plus users, they were severely change-resistant, but they admitted that it wasn't so painful after all.
