I just printed off the Aged Report for AP with the ending date November 30, 2011. The total as shown on the report did not match with the total in GL AP control account. Is there another way or location I can obtain such a report that will match what's the GL balance based on the ending date?

You want to print the Open Payables report, not the Aged Report.

I used the Open Payable but it won't allow me to select Nov. 30. It said" calculate balance as of date is earlier than the last clearing date of Dec. 31. Do you want to use last clearing date as the run date?" If I choose NO, the report will not run at all. If I choose YES, it will print off the Dec. 31st one instead which is not the month I want.

Have you cleared transactions in AP to History? If so, then there is no guarantee that the totals will match for a backdated AP report, because the Open Payables report can only print what exists in current transactions.

Receivables version 9.0x is different because the Aged Trial Balance was re-worked to select transactions that were current as of the report date, even if they have been subsequently cleared to History (but not purged from History). This is something we plan on doing to Payables in a future release, but can't yet because a significant data structure change is needed to allow this.
