We are an Office Supply store that ships via the warehouse, but also has a retail storefront with 3 sales counters & one remote location as well. We are currently using Superclerk for ACCPAC, but need to switch to a Windows-based program that will work with Adagio. We have looked at a couple of programs (Breakpoint & Countersales), but was wondering if anybody out there is using something else, or has clients using another program that is working well with Adagio. We also require a program that can handle 2 different price lists.

Hi Liz

This has been an ongoing topic among us Adagio resellers. I think at this point the answer is that you would be best to stick with Superclerk for ACCPAC, which still integrate perfectly well with Adagio Inventory, Receivables and Ledger. It can handle two different price lists, using the Alternative Price List functionality of Inventory.

The retail program that comes closest to working well with Adagio is Countersales for Adagio, which you say you've already looked at. The reviews at this point are negative. With time, that might change.

CounterSales is fully integrated with Adagio Inventory, Receivables and Sales Analysis plus it can handle multiple price lists. When the customer is assigned a price list, CounterSales will use those prices on the sales invoice. Hi Candace,

We found the solution for Liz and installed it in July 2011. Our solution is our Link2 POS that integrates Microsoft's RMS POS system, as a very robust POS solution, with Adagio as the back office. Consider this a solution for a full Order Entry Adagio distribution site that needs POS capability for walk in retail or showroom sales.

We have added the compatability for handling Orders from Order Entry, and ensures that all custom pricing using the Alternate Pricelists with IC and the Special Pricing in OE is replicated in the POS customer pricing.

We have partnered with Tricity Retail Systems in Kitchener, Ontario, and they assist with the POS hardware, 24-7 support for the retail POS, and your Adagio consultant can continue to provide the back office support for your Adagio. Tricity supports our POS sites and their POS sites across North America.

The last 3 sites that we have installed this Link2POS solution, use Order Entry for phone in and shipped orders, concurrently with walk in POS. While it may not be for all POS situations, it is working well for Liz's group and others.
