I have created a Next Fiscal Year in order to post transactions for the month of October as my year end is September.
I now see in my Adagio Ledger a new Icon with NEXT YEAR on it.
What is the procedure to enter manual invoices. I have a few questions 1. Do I enter manual cheques as NORMAL from Adagio Payable? 2. Do I create a New Batch within Adagio Payable? 3. what date Do i log into the system using?

1. You sound like you need a bit of training on Adagio's processes. May I suggest you contact an Adagio Consultant or attend a training event?

2. The short answer is that your transactions from Payables will be retrieved to a batch or batches in the correct fiscal period in Ledger in either year depending on the date of those transactions.

On the Adagio ledger "Next Year" now appears as an Icon.

This is where you would create or retrieve batches to be posted to your Next Fiscal Year until you are able to close your current fiscal year.

In Ledger, open the Help screen and search for “Next Year”. Click on” Next Year Batches” to get assistance on this feature.

I agree with Ralph – you should be careful about doing the Year-End routines on your own. The Ledger year-end processing is well thought out, but you do not want to mess things up!
