I have entered a suggestion for R&D that we include the Inventory item's UPC code for a future release of PO. However, I'm unclear as to exactly where you would like to see this. You indicated previously, on PO reports. What types of reports specifically? Or, did you mean that you'd like it to be included on the purchase order specification or receipt specification? Knowing this would help to flesh out your request.
For now, there are 40 characters available within the item description field on the Item Detail tab. Can you enter it there? Or, could you add a Comment item type that would contain this information right after the item's description? Or, is there another perhaps unused field on the Item Detail tab that you could enter this information into?
UPC is a field that can be added to the Item Number grid when the Finder is used in the Item Detail tab. Select the Finder. Make the item grid window larger if needs be. Right click on the column headings row and select Show/Hide Columns. Scroll to near the bottom and locate the UPC field, then drag it onto the grid. That way the information will be readily accessible for your users.
