With the impending HST, are we required to set up a new tax code for HST for the AP module. What are the procedures necessary for the change? Tks for the feedback.

Hi Mas,

On the Technical Tips page of our website, there are examples for adding new tax setup for the BC HST, and Ontario would work the same way. Here is a link.

The short answer is yes. Just how you will do this is dependent upon your existing setup.

Two sources of help are the Payables manual and the Tech Notes posted on Softrak's web site.

The link to the Tech Tips does not mention the AP module. The Company Profile has a tab on Tax Information (currently Tax Code 1 - GST) without the percentage. Where do I include the new HST account?

Managed to locate the Edit Distribution for the HST.

Will set up the Tax Code, % and account distribution.

Tks anyway for the input.
