Hello,

I try to install your new service pack for Payables Version 08212008. When i install them directly in the server, this message appear : Error: Installed File dates being changed !

The install has detected that your computer environment might erroneously change the date of files being installed, which could corrupt the adagio application processing data.

You should not install directly to a server or via a remote desktop connection. please log onto a workstation that does not encounter these issues and retry the install.


I try to install the service pack directly in the server and in my computer, but the same message appear. I dont understand because everytime i install another service pack, i make it into the server.

Hi, Kenny,

Adagio should always be installed from a workstation that is connected to the server via a LAN. If it isn't, there is a very good possibility that installed files will take on the date of the install rather than maintain their own dates and this can cause problems when using the programs at a later date.

Try logging on to a workstation that is connected to the server via a LAN and install the service pack to the mapped drive on the server that way. You'll want to make sure you are logged onto the workstation as the Windows user who will be using that workstation and Adagio and that the user has Windows security access to do installs and update their registry.

It doent's work if i try to install the service pack from my workstation.

the same message appear.

Hi, Kenny,

Would you try redownloading the AP service pack from our website again? I believe that will allow you to proceed with the install.

You might also want to contact your Adagio consultant as there is a good possibility that some of the Adagio files from previous installs have this date problem already.
