We have been looking carefully at some of the options available to make life easier, and I believe I need some help in understanding the Over Stock Report. I had assumed that this report drew from the minimum and maximum levels that I have placed on items. However, this does not seem to be the case. As an example, I have one item set with a minimum and maximum quantity of 16, and I currently have 30 in stock. It is not showing up on my overstock report. Please advise what the overstock report is drawing the information from.

There are 5 options on this report on how to define whether an item is overstock or not. It sounds like that you want to choose the 'Print items with' option of 'Quantity greater than maximum level' by more than 0.00%.

How would you consider an item to be overstocked? This way or a different way?

Yes, exactly that way. For some items it works, some are left out though. Thank you for looking into this!

It looks like the culprit in this case is that when updating the Reorder data for an item, the first 'reorder date' isn't being saved correctly. And the Overstocked Items report sees this date as blank and thus doesn't select the item for printing.
