Is it possible to sort an invoice batch to print in descending or ascending order, or is this set by default

Batches are printed in the order the transactions are entered. You can move transactions into another batch if you want them in a specific order. What fields are you trying to sort on?

In Adagio Invoices 8.0A, you can sort invoices within a batch, either open or archive batches. You can sort by fields such as customer number, customer name, invoice number, invoice date, and a number of others. Adagio Invoices is our only application that allows you to sort entries within a batch after the fact.

If you are not referring to Adagio Invoices but a different Adagio program, then Andrew's comment is the way to do things.
