How do I open from a back up file? I need to access the inventory data from the last day of our fiscal year and needs to be pulled from the back up. If I just log-in from on that specific date, inventory quantities still show current levels.

Hello:

Using your current data, you can run the Inventory Valuation report and specify the last day of your previous fiscal year. The report will roll back quantities and actual costs to that date.

if you truly want to restore an older copy of your Inventory data, you should speak with your Adagio consultant. It's not something that can be explained accurately and safely on this Forum.

Hi Bruce, I ran this report but I think there is a problem with it. I'm comparing it to the inventory reconcilliation (Adagio Report generated in IC) from our year end inventory counts. The quantities at the time of the count which were posted are different than what are showing in this report. Do you know of an issue with the report?

Subsequent to running year-end, I'm guessing you posted additional activity to inventory with dates prior to year-end. The report is date-sensitive.

When you run the report, do not put a check-mark in either of the Restrict boxes and do not suppress inactive items. The report will be longer but it is more likely to be accurate.
