So, my last check/backup was Thursday and on Monday afternoon I noticed one of my GL accounts was showing weird balances. Data check revealed errors on that account that it couldn't fix giving me the message that I should restore from backup or contact my vendor.
Given that the issue is with one account I thought it might be a cheap fix, rather than having to backtrack 2 days, but my vendor wants $600 to simply diagnose the problem, which as I say, is one account, the contents of which are correct, but the contents aren't matching what the account is carrying for 'next year' balances only.
Does this seem reasonable?
