Just upgraded all modules. AR and AP printouts function normally, except for printing 2 copies of something, like a check. All instructions to print 2 copies ignored. Ledger will not print anything at all. We are using Windows 7 64 bit OS. Printer is HP Laserjet 4250 with 64bit PCL drivers installed. Any suggestions?

There have been a lot of changes in Adagio in the last 6 years, and Ledger 9.2A uses completely different reporting technology. Is your dealer helping you with the Upgrade?

Reviewing this thread may shed some light on possible solutions to the problem.

Other than asking me if the Crystal Reports 64 bit print engine loaded with the upgrades, no. I don't know if that loaded or not. I just downloaded and followed all instructions and all seemed to go OK. All data converted OK as well. Just cannot use any printing function in the Ledger. Example, try to print an open batch. I cannot Print to a printer, screen, or file. I receive a message that says "print engine loading", but then the Ledger stops running and is forced to shutdown.

Hi, Carl,

If you select File | User Preferences and the Listing button, are you able to successfully print that report?

Also, is anyone else in the office able to successfully print, say, a Batch Listing in Ledger?

Yes, I can print that and the registration information. I cannot print batches, detail listings, trial balances, or any other report. No one else can either.

Okay. This sounds like there may be a rights issue related to the ODBC component of the printing. Or, it could be that the install did not proceed as it should.

Do you receive any error messages at all?

Your Adagio Consultant is probably best equipped to work with you closely regarding this.

Thanks for your help. Problem solved. Seems I needed to install the download files directly on the server instead of through my workstation pointing to the proper drive on the server.
This might be useful to someone else in the future.

Actually only installed the Lanpak and the Ledger on the server directly. The other modules warn not to do so, but to install them through a workstation. Our server is actually a NAS drive and not a dedicated server. Our workstations are all 64 bit Windows 7 OS. It could be due to some network configuration issue.
