I was able to turn on "report sets" in every module except inventory. There is no section to click under "group setup" in inventory. Can anyone tell me how to turn this function on?

Report Sets were included in Adagio Inventory 8.1D and can be defined from the Edit menu in the same way as the other Adagio programs. What version of Inventory do you have installed? You can check this fro the Help / About screen.

We are using 8.1 D but report sets is grey under the Edit tab not black like the rest, no access until feature is set in group setup, which I can not find.

OK, if it is grey, then this means that the security group that your user login is assigned to does not have rights to the Edit Report Sets function. Whomever has access to editing security groups just needs to enable the Report Sets menu choice for the security group to which you belong. It can be found in Security Groups at the bottom of the Edit list.

I do have admin access and was able to Edit Report Sets function in OE AP AR and Sales Analysis but not inventory. When I access security groups and choose Admin and click Edit there is no Report Set to click on.

OK try this. Get everyone out of Adagio Inventory, and in the \softrak\icwin directory where the Adagio Inventory program is installed, look for a file ICMNURES.RSC. It should be updated every time someone opens the program. Once in a blue moon during product development, I have seen it not be updated and when new menu choices are created, they don't appear in the security groups list. The problem appears as a checkbox and a missing text label when editing the security group.

If this is the problem, all you have to do is delete this file, and the next time you open Inventory, it will be recreated with the security group listing refreshed. This will not affect your data in any way.
