Is there a way to create a new company within the payables just to write cheques? I don't want it to be included with my current company. I would like to just use it to write cheques for a different program within our company.

You would create a new data folder and then on the Open Adagio Payables window, enter this new data path and the data extension you'd like to use. Select the Create (rather than the Open) button. Drill down to the new data folder, make sure you enter the new data extension in the Extension field and select OK. When prompted, indicate that you would like to create a new dataset (company).

You'll need to go through and so all of the setup steps for the new company (eg. Company Profile, Control Account Sets, Bank, etc.). Sometimes this is more easily accomplished with the help of your Adagio consultant.
