When an order is processed in Order Entry is there any way that we can change a setting that will popup the Picking Slip print dialogue box.

Similar to how a print invoice will popup when an invoice is created.

Or is there anyway else that this could be accomplished?

Sorry, but the 'direct invoice printing' option in the OE company profile affects invoices and credit notes, but not orders (for which there are 2 document types - order confirmations and picking slips). There is another 'direct label printing' option, but this also does not print picking slips or confirmations.

We would have to add a new option for direct order printing to accommodate this. It would have to be configured in a way that people who want automatic pick slip printing would set this one way, and those who want automatic order confirmation printing can set it that way, and perhaps some people might even want both to print in succession.

I can forward your suggestion to the programmers.

If you just wanted to make sure that a posted order was not forgotten to have the pick slip printed, you could create an Order Filter that select all orders with a print status of unprinted or confirmed (and not yet picked). Then using this Order Filter would list all of the unprinted orders for you.
