I've noticed that the Bank Reconciliation function in the Reports menu of Bank Rec only produces bank balances and lists of items outstanding as of the last completed statement date. When I try to produce a reconciliation from prior months, I receive a notice on the report:

*** Warning! Balance for this bank is calculated as of last statement date. ***

Is there any way around this to produce reconciliation reports for prior months?

Yes, currently that is the way the report works. The suggestion that BR produce reconciliation reports for prior months is on R&D's list for a future release.
