Our company IS the Langley "large end user". As an FYI for anyone thinking of getting into this, our experience has been both good and bad. I guess you could say that about most things!
The bad is that no matter how well you think you are budgeting and planning, things come up that are "surprises." Perhaps this will not be as true for other users, as I feel like we were certainly one of the first Adagio users to work with Virtual Vendor. Keep in mind that everyone "uses" their data bases differently (a big challenge for Softrak I am sure!), so we ran into different "issues" along the way. Each time, Virtual Vendor has been able to find a solution for us, but it does cost us additional funds each time. That can get frustrating, especially when you truly believe you have "covered" it all in the intial planning, which VV was a big part of.
The good part is that our web store is up and running. Lots of our customers really enjoy it, lots of them have to be brought along. Customers can check pricing anytime they wish, pricing is "up to the minute" as we download any changes made at each day end every day.
Overall, my take would be: Worthwhile-Yes. Frustrating along the way-Yes to that too.
