I was thinking the Calculated AR Trial Balance report would be the AR aged report as of cut off date. However, when I was trying to go back to reprint the prior month aged AR report, the balance did not match my G/L balance. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to regenerate the same aged AR report?

Your thinking is correct, as long as you haven't run period end processing as of a later date.

There are many reasons why the balance did not match your G/L balance. Before we get into the list of possible reasons, does the AR Trial Balance as of today agree with the GL balance as of today? If it doesn't, that is where I would start troubleshooting.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, my current AR subledger matches my GL. So I don't have any way to generate the same AR report as before once we have done period end, right?

Not for a date PRIOR to the period end date. So, if you run period end as of 11/30, you can run an Aged AR as of 11/30, but not as of 10/31.

Unless it is year-end, this is not such a terrible problem. At least the GL balances as of today.

In the next release of Adagio Receivables (90A), you will be able to set a Calculate As Of date prior to the last Period End Date. Of course if transactions have been purged out of the system, the report cannot replicate what existed at that time. But this limitation has been lifted for the next release, as long as you are aware of the drawback.
