I am currrently running Adagio Order Entry how can I create a proforma invoice which leaves the order active in the system.

Create a document headed "Pro Forma Invoice" and print it as an Order Confirmation.

Would that work?

If you need to include sales tax on the pro-forma invoice, then Andrew's suggestion won't work. Instead you would need to use Adagio SalesCQ and create the "invoice" there as a quote - thist will allow for the inclusion of sales tax. Quotes entered in Adagio SalesCQ turn into orders in OrderEntry with the click of one button.

This looks like the right answer but we'll have to add the Sales module to our software suite, something that we have been considering for a while.
