Hi All,

We are having problems viewing custom reports in Adagio Order Entry. When we choose the custom report, and press the 'print' or 'preview' button, a box comes up that says 'Printing Report' for a few seconds, then it goes away and nothing happens. We are able to view other regular reports within Order Entry, and custom reports in other modules such as Adagio Inventory. We design our reports with Crystal Reports.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cam,

When printing your Custom Reports from within Adagio, a version 7.0 of the Crystal Print Engine is used. It may be that the custom reports you are experiencing problems with contain a feature that is accessible in Crystal Reports 8.5 but was not available in version 7.0. When this happens, previewing custom reports look like they are about to print but instead quickly 'flash' on the screen.

The reports that are working OK for you do not have any features not supported by the version 7.0 print engine.

For now, you will have to print those reports that don't work within Adagio directly from the Crystal Reports for Adagio designer, rather than from OrderEntry.
