Sounds to me like you need to have Adagio completely stripped off all workstations and server and then re-installed correctly. Whne installed correctly the upgrades should find the correct installation path automatically making an upgrade install seamless.

Take a look at the shortcut you are using to start Adagio Ledger. Right click on it. Select properties and look at the field called "target." It should say something like x:\softrak\alwin\alwin.exe whre x is your driver letter.

However, you may find that it actually says x:\softrak\alwin\backup\alwin.exe . That is because the Adagio install program moved the old program files to a backup folder, and Windows "helpfully" updated the shortcut to point to the program file in the new location. This seems to happen most often when the shortcut is on the task bar at the bottom of the screen.

Edit the shortcut to point to the new program file and it should run correctly.
